Bill and Linda Tom

Bill and Linda celebrated their 10th anniversary by renewing their vows to eachother. Like many couples Bill and Linda wrote their own vows. I can’t help but to compliment them on how wonderful it is to see after 10 years they wrote such beautiful words for eachother.

Thanks you two, I had a wonderful time.

Samantha came by for portfolio shots. Easy to work with, photogenic, creative and brought her own wardrobe and stylists! Wish they all were as easy. Thanks Sammy!

Jesse and Erica

Engagement sessions are a great way to get to know your clients before the big day. I recently had the chance to work with Jesse and Erica. Jesse is a big guy, an Orange County Sherriff he commands a little respect. Erica, working for colleges has a perfect smile and even on the test shots looked great.

Crystal and Nathan

Posted in Weddings on November 29th, 2008 by Jim

On Friday, November 28th, Crystal and Nathan were married at the Mission Inn in Riverside Ca. If you have not been to the Mission Inn it is absolutely worth a visit.  Since 1876 the Hotel has grown from a dozen rooms to 239. The walls themselves speak of history. You get a feeling of granduer here. One of the finest places to photograph too.  That is terribly obvious by the number of photographers here at any given moment.

This was also a opportunity to work with ADG Productions. They created a spectacular video and slide show that highlighted not only the bride and grooms life but video shot that very day. Awesome job! I was amazed they Alex from ADG was able to edit and compile the video slide show right there at the reception so the guest were able to enjoy it. More info on ADG Productions can be found here http://adgphotovideo.net

As you can see, Crystal and Nathan make a beautiful couple to complenment the wonderful surroundings.

Lyndsey and Brandon

Posted in Portraits on November 10th, 2008 by Jim

A fun couple to work with. Brandon knows his stuff. His father is a photographer for the motorcycle industry.  Those guys are good. Motorcycles and cars are some of the most difficult things to photograph. They are pretty much big mirrors with lots of angles.  Brandon has worked on a few shoots with him so he was very familar with all of my equipment. He also noticed the challenge of black shirts in front of a black background. Lyndsey works at a Aquarium teaching. My munchkin just loves fish (fishies as he puts it. ) I am sure he would love Lyndsey.

Both are great in front of the camera as well!

Great working with you guys! Congratulations on the engagement!

Karla and Paul

Working with Karla and Paul was great. Not only were they comfortable with each other but they were comfortable in front of the camera.  As you can see, it is dificult to take a bad picture of them.

Couples who are comfortable in front of the camera and like taking pictures as much as Karla and Paul allow you to get very creative with them on their wedding day.

Thanks for coming down guys, very cute together! CONGRATS!!

Aaron, Valerie and Corey

Family portraits with a youngster like Corey are a ton of fun. You never really know what to expect. And Corey is not one to disappoint. At a mere 14 months Corey is a big as my 2 year old (see him at nathanjconner.com.) Come to find out his Grandpa is a big guy too.

As you can see Aaron, Valerie and Corey are very cute together. They make great photo subjects.

thanks you guys!

Shannon and Chris

Posted in Weddings on November 9th, 2008 by Jim

Shannon and Chris came by today to get some engagement portraits done along with a few portraits for the house. Shannon could not keep a straight face.  You can see in the portraits she is happy all the time. I had met her previously when she booked me for their February wedding. This was the first time I had met Chris. The first thing that came to mind is he is a big guy. They do compliment eachother well.  I can tell their wedding is going to be a lot of fun.

Can’t wait guys! Thanks for coming in.
